Difference between CS and IT or other software studies

 

Difference  -  CS ,IT and software studies  :

Both the branches are more or less quite similar.

But there are certain differences in IT and CSE.

They are,

IT or software studies	CS
IT is a software oriented course	CS is both software and hardware oriented course.
IT mainly deals with the application	Computer Science deals with Design and implementation of those applications.
IT does not require intensive mathematics background because primary focus is on application.	CSE requires some decent mathematics background.
Main Subjects in Bsc IT are-:MATHS and COMPUTERS	Main subjects in Bsc cs are -:MATHS,COMPUTER AND PHYSICS.
IT is   a subset  of CSE.

 

Software studies –          Exclusively for learning specific software development languages.

                                                It is subset of IT.
