Water is a renewable resource, however
due to improper recycling and wasteful use, it has become a scarce resource in
many parts of the country.
Water conservation encompasses the policies,
strategies and activities to manage freshwater as a substantial resource.
Population, of our country consumes much water.
A way to conserve water is rain water harvesting. Rain
water harvesting is considered the best method to save water because it is
cheap, environment friendly and can be easily practised by individuals.
Traditional rain water harvesting techniques in the country, roof-water
harvesting and construction of artificial wells etc.. can be followed.
As water is
consumed more by our people, we should enforce so that people cut short their
unwanted usage of water for unnecessary thing. If our country people could
co-operate, we immensely can conserve water for our future India.
