The Battle of Tarain. The second battle of Tarain was fought in 1192 by the Ghunds against the chamanas and their allia, near tarain. The ghun king Muhammad Ghori defeated the Chamana king Prithviraj Chauhan, thus among his earlier defeat at the first battle of Tarain

The Battle of
The Battle of Chausa was a notable military
engagement between the Mughal emperor, Humayun, and the Afgan Sher Shah Suri.
It was fought on 26 June 1539 at Chaura, 10 miles southwest of Burar in modern
day Bihar, India. Humayun escaped from the battle field to save his life.
