At first, In India, all sports must be equally treated. There should be basic respect for every sportsman. Then the Government should take care for players after their retirement. Sportsmen always do have very small professional life. Once they retire, many of them struggle even for basic survival. In their retired life, players can become great coaches for future legends.
We need to admit that India seriously looks a sports culture, which we must be able to create. Sports must be included in curriculum and given due importance. In India, we never value sports as important as academics. In face of exams, we stop practising ground sessions. While parents are not to be blamed for this, there is a cruel circle around us. We need to develop a culture which will produce more players like Usain Bolt, Rafael Nadal etc.
